I just downloaded the update and it has reset the scores. Why. Why why why. Now I lost three matches in a row and look bloody rubbish. Net code does not seem that much better for me either.

Don't think the netcode itself has changed, it's just easier to get into games now.

I think mine was lowered, and I've now got a * next to it that I don't think I had before...

i wondered what the star means - i think it means you're new or something, as i had the star at the start then it disappeared after i played a load of matches

Yeah, the star means you haven't played enough games to get an accurate rating yet.

My score was wiped (which was no loss really) but I've only been playing about a week so maybe they used a backup from a certain date. Everyone I played last night though had very little stats.

my score's been reset

it's down to 3 games, 1 win. at least it's an opportunity to get a better overall score, whereas last time i was getting mullered initially and only got better later on.

also while phillai's stick's still fooked it's the perfect opportunity to get one over on the bugger

A workmate told me on Live earlier that when someone dropped from his games he was getting the points for a win, I know someone earlier in the thread said the the opposite, so anyone else want to confirm who is actually right?.

Yeh I think thats right... that was one thing the patch addressed was quitters.

Before the patch they didnt get penalised but now they forfeit the win.

The patch also "fixed" the timeout problem when connecting to games. "fixed" because as far as I can tell, you have exactly the same problems getting into games, it's just that now it says "game is full" instead of "timeout"...
very clever
