Considering there are no games out for it in the immediate future that I want, I'd be willing to go up to ?250-280. No more though.

The ?415-430 price though for Europe is well out of my range. It's a busy time of the year and there are enticing games on other formats worth more than what the PS3 currently offers.

There's plenty of other, more affordable stuff out there to keep me occupied. I am not paying a ludicrous price for any console. Will wait til it's about ?150 before I buy it, could be waiting a while!

I wouldn't pay any more than ?250 for it (& only when there are some decent games out)......don't really see the point in paying a premium for Blu Ray etc.

?300 or ?350 is a good price point, including the drive, specification etc. I don't think I'd pay any more.

gotta play re5 on something though

?249 for me as well - there isn't as of yet anything that interests me about the system yet. I think I'll buy a 360 for Chrimbo and get a Wii at launch.

?199 for me, though to be honest I'll pay more if it has a quality title.

From what I've seen so far I wouldn't even pay ?100 at launch to be honest, but I'm sure that'll change the nearer we get.

I'm currently on the sick having had major lung surgery last year so the Ps3 just isn't viable at all on release day. I am also thinking of going back to college to study anyway. That means I may never own one during this time because I'll have to wait till I'm working before I can buy into it and then keep it in games aswell. When I do though I'm going for an American or Japanese machine though because I have more Ps2 games from these regions so I'll have to import if I do anyway.

Luckily my cousin works for the American airforce, so he will be able to pick me one up in Japan or America and it will be all duty and import tax free(wahey). Still I can't afford right away, and I also personally don't think the price will drop for the foreseeable future because many people will still pay the top whack for it on release and beyond anyway. This'll give sony the impression that they've priced it fairly.

I may only get a Wii when I've seen some stuff I like for it and the same goes for Ps3. I just can't see the price dropping anytime soon as the PSP has hardy come down in price, has retained some of its value, and thats been out a fair while now. The major factor for me is that I'm no Action, FPS or racing game fan, so whichever way I look at it I'm going to have be realistic about it & bide my time before I by into this generation anyway, but I did vote for the ?350 bracket anyway.

It's 249 euros for me, so below ?199.

depends whether the 360 and Wii have a lull in games tbh, but I'll most likely wait for it to drop below ?200.
