US Wii: Preorder Details Thread

I suppose the more people in the same boat (plane) as us, the more peace of mind you get that the parcels have not been stolen.

I got mine the other day, im never using USPS again absolute utter cack. 2 -3 days actually took five!

Yours left Los Angeles Airport where as all of ours left Chicago.

Yeah but it's Sunday today. I think the flight from Chicago wont have even taken off yet.

All the planes seem to turn up at around 7 - 10pm UK time, so with a bit of luck its in the air now

i had this exact problem with an hd-dvd player when they first came out. tracking with usps didnt seem to update after it left the country, so i started panicking and kept contacting the seller who obviously could do nothing. cant remember exactly how i found it but parcelforce change the tracking number when they receive it and customs kept it for about 3-4 days before releasing it. never gave them the chance to deliver as once it said arrived at local depot i phoned and arranged to collect. at least you lot have a tracking number, my ebay seller claims not to have one and it could take up to 10 days to reach me!!

I've asked my ebay seller to upgrade the shipping which he seems to be alright with and said it would cost $20 more. Security and Speed is worth an extra ?12 or so I think. Just waiting to hear back from him now.

Sorry for the late reply, I've been busy. Yeah I will have to get a PAL unit now. I'll probably get a USA one at a later date....I hate mucky PAL.

The USPS site will never update until the parcel gets to the UK, so dont worry guys its on the way!

Which was the point I was about to make having experienced trying to track parcels before via the website. Parcelforce won't know about it either until it reaches them either, but you can put the number into their site hopefully and it'll spit out the PF number they've assigned it instead.

My Wii was shipped 3-5 day Global yesterday, so hopefully it'll get here by end of the week...
