nope! i want to pre-order asap and feel good, THEN moan when i find out i wont get one straight away like when ordering DS from them.

im just worried theyll start pre-orders when im at work, and by the time i get home (work blocks the site) theyll all be gone

Well they're probably gonna take more pre-orders than consoles they get in, and considering they sell to Canada and that as well etc. I'm sure they'll run out of consoles quickly and have to tell people they won't be getting a Wii from the first shipment either way.

EB Games preorders will start this friday, according to various rumors on the net. I think VG+ will start shortly after, I asked them again yesterday about this and a couple of other things (Super Paper Mario on Wii and Zelda on GC) and they replied they will start in the next few days. Before they always replied with "we hope" and "it should", so I think that within next week all major north america websites will have the appropriate section online.

EB Games preorders will start this friday, according to various rumors on the net.

Sorta confirmed - just got an e-mail from them. They intend to start offering the Wii for preorder at Gamestop and EB stores in America. The online ordering campaign starts at a later date.
