US Wii: Preorder Details Thread

How about customs for their DHL orders... any ideas?

It's the same price as a UK Wii including shipping - wich is a bit expensive once you factor customs in, but if that isn't an issue...

I just pre-ordered Wii from DVDBoxOffice now. Just couldn't resist.

Btw, before I pre-ordered, I talked to a guy on the Chat Live services they have, and he said they would be able to ship every pre-order of Wii they had gotten so far. So we can only hope he's right about that.

I'll preorder one from vg+ and if that falls through then I have my gamestation PAL order to fall back on.

I got my DVDboxoffice preorder in 15 mins after it went live. It's probably not worth it to keep checking VG+ to preorder from there instead. I'll just get down to playing Okami instead and hope DVDBO pull through

I don't know how he/they know, but I'm being optimistic.

That said, it would be nice to know at some point before the launch whether I will get my order shipped in november or not.

I've gone for DVD boxoffice. Figured I can always cancel it if something better comes along. They haven't got any controllers or cables listed though. Nor Trauma Centre

Just fully paid for mine today. Set me back ?125, i'll have to probably add ?25-30 for postage by ems but not too bad at all.

Now i need to save up more cash to pay for the stack of launch games i want.

Was DHL shipping the way to go? What about customs charges?

Assuming it comes with composite cables, i think i'll buy the component cables for it too, and hopefully if i buy this I'll be able to run it into the back of my old CRT.
