US Wii: Preorder Details Thread

The playasia price is a absolute last resort for me. The good thing about playasia though is it's free shipping and you don't get customs. So what you pay upon ordering is what you'll only ever pay. I don't mind paying stupid money for the machine if it means getting a US one. It will pay for it's self in the long run because games are cheaper to import from Canada than buying in the UK!

It might take 1-2 weeks to turn up from playasia but I wont be using it until I can get a component cable in the UK anyway.

Well I've confirmed my (Japanese Wii) order with PlayAsia. Total cost with postage is just under what I guess it would cost for a UK machine from somewhere like Game. Just have to see how much Customs charge

i pre-ordered with them a while back too, saw they have updated the prices on their site today and thought it looked a bit pricey to me. ?213 just for the console.
dieing to get home and check my email now...did they send something asking to confirm or something?

Just checked yesasia after looking at it this morning and they have put the price UP on the US Wii's. It was about ?240 earlier today but now it's ?276! Bastards!

i'm sitting tight for the moment, i still recon nintendo will make **** loads before christmas and we will all be able to get them at retail price.

I never expected the bigger sites to put the price up so much, but their not getting my order while they are so high, and if noone else pays that much then they will have to lower the price to move the stock, the demand it too high for this to happen tho so i'll have to wait longer. Great news i have GOW to keep me entertained.

Wouldn't trust some comapny named mancs to deliver sought after merchandise. They'd all be like "mad for it, am tellin' ya" when you try entering in your tracking number!
