No different to GOTY editions, and in LA Noire's case it clearly isn't a GOTY candidate so they can't sell it as such!

Is that what GOTY editions are? heheh. I had no idea. I thought it was just the same thing with GOTY slapped on the front.

Bout time this "ultimate" version came out, been holding off for a bit now. Though, don't these versions of game usually come out after a year or so? As pete j says must be the poor sales...

Yeah, but that's the same for all games, isn't it? Wait a while and you can buy any game for a tenner.

Indeed, but this way you get all the DLC on a disc so that when they drop the DLC from the servers, you can still play the missions at a later date. It's therefore a superior package for less.

You might just get one use codes to download the DLC.

Hah. Lame. Would be less work for them recompiling the discs I guess.

Anyway, good news for anyone that hasn't yet played it and fancies it.

Excluding Nintendo's games and Call of Duty.

I'm pretty sure I can find Modern Warfare 1 and Mario Galaxy 1 for a tenner by now.

                        A quick look on Amazon:

                        Mario Galaxy 2: new ?26 used ?22.50
Mario Galaxy: new ?26 used ?5
NSMB Wii: new ?29.50 used ?19.50
DKC Returns: new ?30 used ?29.50
Mario Kart Wii: new ?25 used ?17

They have held their value incredibly well. Galaxy is 4 years old now and Kart is 3.5 years. You'll be waiting more than "a while" if you think you're going to be playing Nintendo games on "bargain" prices infact Galaxy 1 is the only one I'd call even cheap.

                          We never said 'new' though.

Haven't read much about this game since release, but it popped up on Steam for pre-order the other day and has piked my interest. Just curious about how long it is, and whether there's any replayability at all? Otherwise I'll probably wait until it drops in price a bit...

Think it took me about 15 hours for the main game without DLC. No real replay value as your just replaying scenes (like in Heavy Rain) but a great gaming experience none the less.

Ah, so with DLC included it's fairly good length then. Might grab it next month.
