Everybody's Golf (PS2) for me, Had it since release day over here.

13 full courses. Plays a fantastic game of golf, varied challenges, great graphics, characters from other PS games. Single & Multi player both excellent.
It's one of the few games I want a PS3 for, can't wait for the new one!

I can't believe people still buy the Tiger Woods games, hitting 300 yards straight down the fairway everytime is so boring

Something I've been curious about, has the PS2 version of Everybody's Golf gone with the analogue stick swing or has it stuck to the three button press?

It uses the 3 button presses.

I found the analogue swing from Tiger Woods fun for a few months when it first used it, then it was pointless as you hit the ball straight every time you hit it. Where's the skill in that?

Hey, I hit a ball dead straight using a three button swing anyway.

Hmm... Well, I was able to test the game thoroughly in regards to the bug that you're describing, and I can say, without a doubt, that I was unable to replicate the bug even once. Which is to say: the ground texture moved every time with the aiming box when I moved it. Admittedly, I have the US version, which was released about two months after the Japanese and European releases, so maybe (most of) the bugs in the previous versions were cleaned up for True Swing Golf. Take the power shot bung you also mention, for example: I notice that when you re-aim and then select a power shot the aiming box stays for a moment in the same place --but then lurches it forward quite suddenly, as if the game noticed that as well and "fixed" the oversight.

I agree that it's quite strange that, despite being a "golf game specialist" (whatever that means) T&E Soft don't seem to have really perfected the craft, for some reason. To be fair, they seem to have developed about half of all Virtual Boy games released (including the enjoyable Golf), but still... Touch Golf lacks a bit of charm, granted, but it's more than average, in my opinion. Something odd is happening with T&E Soft, though. Apparently, Touch Golf/True Swing Golf/Otona no DS golf wasn't really developed by them. The game is the result of a merger between Deep, Inc. and T&E Soft, which resulted in Digital Golf; and so Touch Golf became apparently the first DS game of the company.

Pebble Beach was T&E Softs climax for me, tbh if Touch Golf comes close to that I'm very interested. Keep meaning to pick it up anyway.

Yeh, it is a bit strange though that even post-merger (which I wasn't aware of, nice research skills there), surely they'd have put their best golf game guys on any further stuff. Ah well, it's still kind of fun, I'm still playing it anyway
I played HAL's Hole In One the other day when I was on the phone to someone unimportant and managed to be +28. A high number's good, right? Right?

Anyone in the games industry know if a sequel to Minna no golf on PSP is on the cards?

So far I can think of 4 that I've done: Mario Golf GBC, Mario Golf GBA, Mario Golf 64, Hal's Hole In One (SNES)

I wish Touch Golf wasn't so bugged

For me only PSP Minna no golf sadly and the saved file is now lost.
