my wii is missing still, now officialy over 3 weeks,

ive been on to royal mail and nintendo,,

royal mail have lost the signature after looking for 2 weeks i simply got a letter saying your item was deliverd but we cant find the signature, no help whatsoever about what to do!
what the hell am i supposed to do

So they can't prove they've delivered it to the right address, I think a claim at the post office is the only way, but it'll take a long time........

I'd agree with that. One of the main points of Special Delivery is that you get proof of delivery. If the post office can't provide that proof, they have to be the ones who are liable. You automatically get ?500 cover with Special Delivery, so the post office should pay up. As Nakano says though, don't count on it being a quick process.

The only place I've noticed with any PAL units in stock is Computer Exchange. But they're second hand and cost ?275 so I don't think it's quite worth it Haven't seen any US units in stock at any of the usual places like VG+ or NCSX.

after threataning them with watchdog and other things ive finnaly got my wii back, they told me it was in the office for a month but they never botherd to replace until now,


i received nothing but a bear unit either,


i was promised they would transfer over the vc games and points, game saves but this has not happend, did yours have them on when you got it back?

i phoned up again today and they said it will take a while to come on my account?

I received Elebits today (US copy) and it gave my machine an update. Anyone else had this? Oh, my Wii isn't connected to the Net by the way. Wonder if it was the update that's been killing some people's American Wii.

mines just screwed up

not played it for two weeks or so probably more turn it on tonight after a night out and was fine for about 2mins then the wii remote decided to turn itself off and unsynced itself and now it wont resync

nintendo customer support service site says it needs to go off for repair, its only been played for 3-4 hours tops in total n already bust

Both of my remotes have just un-synched themselves from my Wii, mid-game. Now I can't use them to turn it back on, and I can't re-synch them as it doesn't work, for some reason. Batteries are definately OK, they flash 4 lights when I try and power on.

Ideas?

Nintendo is just putting latest firmware updates directly on popular games to guarantee that even those consoles that aren't connected to net have new version of firmware. Not bad strategy, TBH.

Did you remember to use sync button? I only have had one desyncing issue, and that was solved by removing batteries temporarily, and doing sync again.

You're pushing the synch button on the console first and then on the remotes yes ???

Nah, pushing the button on the remote to make the lights flash, then on the Wii. But it doesn't register

Pull the power cord out the back of the Wii and plug it back in again. That should sort it. Sounds strange, but it's happened a couple of times with my US Wii.

Let me know if it works.

Yeah it did. Same way I 'fixed' my 360 yesterday. Nothing's reliable anymore
