ah, my friend, on wanadoo were you? try getting a proper router (netgear, for instance) that may sort out your dilema - the wii can update itself wirelessly

Has any one had problems with a pixelated screen? I'm now getting vertical strips of flickering pixels which is a posible overheated gpu, they are still there when the Wii has been turned off for a day too

I had artefacting problems with Mario Strikers and RE4, contacted ninty and returned my console, got a new one back from them in less than a week and I've been fine since. I do not leave the Wii on now though as I think it was a heat problem that had damaged the GFX chips.

Trying that, sent off a second mail after the phone was on hold >.<

What about any VC things you had?

My Wii buggered up about 2 months ago. It would only read the wiimote when right next to it. I contacted CS and they asked for the wiimote and sensor bar..sent me back brand new replacements..same issue. Sent in console, they sent it back about 3.5 weeks later, still the ****ing same. I'm now waiting (13 days) for a pre-paid postage sticker. First two times i paid postage, i think because i went slightly head mental, they are paying the postage..if they ever do!

Anyone's Wii make a horrible whirring noise when playing a game disc?

Occasionally mine does - but not every time and I can't understand what governs it's behaviour. It sounds like it's grinding the disc, but when I eject it there is not evidence of damage whatsoever.

Not much noise at all from mine, cooking itself is the first fault that I've ever had with a Nintendo

                edit....
There sending me a label to post it back. I'VE NO RECEIPT >_<

I was able to redownload them for free on the replacement console, I just had to back up my save games to an SD card before returning it.

I had to send a copy of my invoice/receipt when I returned mine as it was specifically requested.

I had to enclose a copy of my receipt when I sent my DS back too.

My Wii's big power supply box thingy is starting to make whiny ringing noises when left on standby for awhile. Is this monumentally bad?

Not really. I mean, if it dies it'll surely still be covered by warranty, or you can pick up a replacement very cheap on eBay.

                              Stroller.

Well from what everyone says I have plenty of time to get the receipt posted to me before Nintendo get anything posted to me :/
