I just hope that come tomorrow morning GS don't turn around and tell me I can't have them because I'm not getting a console from them! Some stores are supposedly doing that.

yeah i mean we are gonna be talking a week of shortages(if that) before a load of uk cables come in, so i wouldnt panic even if i hadnt already got my jap nintendo cable ready and waiting.

i think nintendo has just realised the true extent of hd gamers.

Wow... news just in.. just had a chat with my mate in Hong Kong and look what he just picked up for me and a friend....

Cost was 300HK$ each which is about 19 quid. He'll be sending them over to me ASAP. So I now should have a spare one on it's way from Otaku.com. First person who wants it gets it (when it arrives), 28 quid plus shipping.

Been chatting about seeing if he can sned them over en mass but we'll see

Get him to send it via DHL mate. Mine got despatched from Hong Kong on Tuesday and I got it today (the weekend might get in the way though)!

I asked when I reserved it and the guy said it'd be fine. I'm just worried I'll bowl down tomorrow and they'll have changed their plans. The other GS that I called don't have any in, but said that if they got some in people with preorders would be given 1st dibs.

so is game in sheffield. very annoying - console and games from hmv, then a walk around every shop in sheffield to find a component lead! game said i could pre-order a lead but wouldnt guarantee me one.

other shops (playtime) told me they arent out in this country!!!

I just called GS again, the guy said I can turn up anytime to collect it, but I'll be there at 9 anyway just to be sure. It's not a head office directive, just something some stores are doing of their own accord. I've just got to brave the morning traffic to get there now

i dont mind nintendo focussing on gameplay over graphics, im all for it, but i wish they had just realised that as most tvs available in shops now are lcd and plasma, that surely a lot of people would want to connect their wii to them in the way to et the best picture: with a component lead.

dont understand why there is so much mixed info about tho. not that hard to tell people when your product is available is it?

Went in to town (Eastbourne) Game - Nintendo hasn't sent any yet -next week. HMV- Nintendo hasn't sent any yet -no idea when we'll get them.
Launches in the morning, doesn't it? - thought some folk may have wanted a choice of cables. What goes through their minds?
