Well we're assuming not here, but you never know. I'd reckon all cables will work on all Wii.

Surely a cable is a cable wherever you are?

Same. When i asked them about shortages they had no idea, so here hoping every order gets filled. When did you order?

Also out of curiosity when the Wii launching in Europe?

Having realised that my plasma only has compo****e inputs under the front flap - where's the best place to drop a pre-order now for the component cable on launch day?

How much is the fast shipping from play-asia?

I think the fastest is by Fedex at around ?13 - almost the price of the cable.

?13! Think I'll pass on that - I'm not THAT desperate to be running in component....

I wonder if they'll put one of them composite to scart adaptors in the UK boxes like with the Xbox 1? In fact I probably have that kicking around somewhere that I can use till the component situation calms down....

I would think that P-A have way more orders than cables anyway, tbh

There was no way I was trusting Game with these, so I ordered from Gameplay last month for a guaranteed release day arrival...

There's no difference between composite and the scart adaptor. It just passes a composite signal through the scart block.

?13 is a good price for a component lead too. Considering people were paying ?50+ for a Gamecube component lead not too long ago.

Yea, I realise that - just I have the scart inputs on the back of my plasma and the composite ones under the flap on the front.... The wife won't be happy finding leads and **** hanging out the front of the tele!

Anyone know the current best place to order one of these from ? Ideally an official one ?

Also, do the Gamecube games work in 480p ? Or will you have to hold down a button ? I never got round to getting a component cable for my 'cube so would be nice to play the last few cube games on 480p via the Wii.
