Just had a mail from GAME saying the component cable release date has gone back to 15th Dec!

Noooooo, I was just waiting for the PAL release to get one, this is awful if true.

Game just sent me this email 2 minutes ago:

"As you may already be aware, the UK release date for Official Nintendo Wii Component AV Cable has changed to 15-Dec-2006. Changes to release dates are relatively common in the videogames industry and are unfortunately beyond our control."

on holiday in japan at the moment, cannot buy a wii anywhere but picked up a component cable today for only ??2300. i presume they have loads as i figure d-terminal is more popular over here.

tempted to buy a stack of them and sell on ebay, but knowing my luck they will be available everywhere by the time i get home.

yesasia emailed me yesterday to say component cable wouldnt be shipped til 21st dec, but then emailed me this morning to say it had shipped.... now i am confused!!

Yesasia told me on the phone this morning that the component cables were out of print, and Nintendo weren't making any more. I think they just get confused easily.

They crack me up at YesAsia, I rang them up once to ask them a simple query and I put the phone down laughing at their useless customer service bloke who asked me 20 times for an order code even though I kept telling him I only wanted to ask a question. I mean seriously don't even offer a UK phone number if the people can't even speak English (or have common sense)!
