Is the cable decent build quality Bada Bing?

Colours are improved, and dot crawl is gone, but I can't say it's any sharper. They hve obviously worked to create a very clean composite output by default.

Yeah, the Composite output on the Wii is excellent. But it seems that if it detects you're using the Composite cable, some games'll turn on Flicker Filtering to blur the picture. Trauma Center is one, blurry as hell through Composite but a lot clearer via Component. Compare that to Super Smash Bros Melee (GameCube) which isn't filtered on either.

Yeah, it's actually very solid and looks just as good as the OEM one. I've been sitting watching Sky HD for the last few days, so maybe I just raised my expectations too highly.

Massive, massive improvement for me on my CRT TV, even though it's going through a component to RGB transcoder.

^ Game in worthing have these in stock as well - had about 6 at lunch time today.
Nice and clear on Zelda. TBH Games own brand leads are pretty good. A friend had one of the Game componant leads on his ps2 I tried my official Sony lead on his tv, guess what - the same quality and half the price.

My Gameplay branded one and my classic controller were randomly delivered today, which I was not expecting being a Sunday. Must be due to xmas I guess.

Anyway, things are looking MUCH better on my 32" Lg lcd. Gone is the horrid blur trail left by the pointer on the dash and everything else is much clearer and better defined.

Well three of my seven orders have finally been dispatched so I've cancelled the rest. It'll be interesting to see the difference in quality before I sell them on.

Anyone had this turn up yet? I ordered as soon as I saw this post, so have a "You won eBay item #123456" email dated 7th December 2006 12:49:07 GMT, and a "we have dispatched" email sent at 7:45pm that day.

The bloke has loads of positive feedback, and left positive feedback for me immediately he shipped, so I don't have any doubts about his integrity... I just wish the frikkin' cable was here!!

The email said 7-18 working days, so I guess that could even mean I don't get it until after Christmas.

Got my Gameplay cable this morning, a vast improvement I'd say (LG 32"). The fact the bluring when moving the pointer around on the dash is fixed is reason enough to get the cable, but Zelda is looking much better too. Just watching the intro - which I've seen many times already - I've been able to pick out details I couldn't see before.

My local Game had their own brand component cables in stock this morning. I haven't been able to try them yet but they were a little cheaper than the offical cable at ?20. I still have an official cable ordered so we'll see how they compare then I'll sell or trade the other one.

So I went for Premium component cable at Amazon made by Fanatec As it look the best quality cable on express shipping so I will get it on Friday - shame about 7.45 for delivery option.

I can't keep looking and looking as it drive me mad.

Still waiting for mine too - Same boat as you guys shipped 7th but nothing yet - looking at some of his feedback though stuff seems to turn up very promptly. I reckon deffo this week at some point but if I see them in the shops I'll end up buying I just know it.
