Picked up a nunchuck at Coventry Toys r us today - they seemed to have pretty much everything except consoles, they had classic controllers, nunchucks, points and all the games I think. Can't remember if they had separate wiimotes, but think they had Wii play...

Went in two different Games shops today in Reading and they both had Wii remotes for sale, first one had 4 so i bought one and the second had a whole shelf full. No cables of any kind anywhere though.

And yet the whole of Bristol has 0 remotes, 28 billion nunchuks, and 1 classic controller (which I bought, so now 0).

Well had a hunt around and absolutly nothing

suprised me a few shops like pcworld had lots of games stuff for ps2 and x360 but absolutly nothing of the WII no console or games

Hmv had a really small section virgins i did not see anything

Game had no consoles at all

Congratulations m8 (seriously ), we completely ran out of nunchucks at our branch by 10am even with just selling to pre order customers only. We only got something like half our shipment tho, apparantly the rest will be in early next week. Guessing you got in early?

Oh yes. I was in the HMV at Piccadilly Station at about 7:45 (classic controller) and they offered me a nunchuck, I thought "No, I'll pick one up later", almost immediately had a change of heart, saw that Debenhams had opened at 8:00 so headed up there. They even price matched HMV. Sounds like I was lucky.

My local woolies have got loads of everything software , controllers etc and 5 consoles in stock !!!!

Mine too, well except for the actual machines. Got wii play yesterday, had another 10 on the shelf

I think it will be very difficult to get hold of one before xmas now unless you have a preorder.

By the end of next week wii's on ebay will be ?350 at least

Na prices are falling quite drematicly, on day one they where going for 400+ now they finish at about 280 and alot of places are getting stock in all next week cant see the prices increasing alot, i know my local sainsburys getting another 20 in on tuesday so im sorted from them now8)

Woolworths in weston super mare had wii play instock,various games as well.
No idea if they had machines as it was my wife xmas shopping and she phoned asking if we needed any extra controllers for my daughters wii.
Seems you have to ask for them as they are behind the counter.Should have asked her to get a nunchuck and classic controllers as well

Yes but the majority of next weeks shipment will go on pre-orders that weren't fulfilled. Only need to look on ebay.com to see that wii's are actually going up in price as we get nearer to xmas and people realise that they won't be freely available until the new year

We had lots of wii-motes here but out of nunchucks. Erm, does one really need to get a nunchuck too for MP gaming? I noticed most games out of wii sports, wii play and even super monkeyball uses the wii-mote most of the time - perhaps i shud just get more wii-motes first?
