Yeah I just called the GAME store in Tunbridge Wells - they don't have theirs in stock yet but the delivery is expected anytime between now and 4pm. My boss wanted one so was able to reserve one in his name - as long as he picks it up before the store closes today, he can have one! They're taking names for the reservations and ID is required when you come in to buy it. Izzz niice for ma bossman yeasssss!!! Yagshemash

Wii-sult!!

I managed to get a Wii from my local Game in St Albans.

Speaking to the manager it seems that I managed to bag the only spare console, the rest were filling outstanding preorders. I got lucky.

Got Zelda and Rayman to play on it and I'm using the web browser to post this.

Hopefully some of you guys who were looking managed to get one today as well.

Went shopping in Solihull. HMV had consoles for sale yesterday and Woolworths the day before. Manager of entertainment department in Woolworths said to check daily as they were getting stock in every couple of days.

I went to game this morning, fair few people queing up so i join in.

They had 6 wii's in and i was 7th in the que, absoloutely gutted!

Tried Woolworths, none at all, Toys R us none at all, Gamestation yes we have them but only to fill outstanding pre-orders!

dont know about elsewhere but gamestation in motherwell had wii's in stock today ?209.99 with any game.my good lady bagged me one with zelda so any gamestation well worth trying.

I'm officially not looking anymore... although if I see one when I'm out tomorrow I'll nab one, but I doubt it'll happen I just ordered online and hopefully it won't be too long after Xmas when there will be enough stock to clear the backlog of pre-orders and get my order out to me!

Got a call from Currys digital yesterday saying come down and pick up your Wii! Very strange as I have had 3 letters saying I would definitely NOT be getting one before christmas and they were very sorry and are going to give me a 10% discount on my next purchase.
Headed down there and got the mrs to nip in and get it while I waited in the car. They advised her to keep her head down and run for it as soon as they sold it!
Santa's very kind to me I got the 360 on xmas eve last year from Dixons as well.

Most places I've asked around at (Currys, Dixons, PC World etc) got one small stock before Xmas and didn't even fill pre-orders so they're still out.

Toys R Us got way more than anyone else near and had them for open sale, if you call open sale joining a 4 hr queue at 4am. Game seemed to be getting deliveries every other day with less queues so it looks like the drought/rush to ebay them is relenting a little.

I'd think within two weeks you'd be able to walk into a few shops and pick one up.

Game and Gamestation are definitely getting the lions share of allocations. Local Gamestation had filled 100 preorders before Dixons had got their first machine.
Seems like January there will be a lot on the ground which seems a shame cos I think for many the Wii might have been a christmas purchase and nothing else.

My rents tryed to buy me a game the other night as something to open up on christmas day but couldnt find a single game anywhere ...

Good news for nintendo as they're selling out stuff ! not good news for me though
