Didn't Famitsu score Ryuga Gotoku 2 higer than Zelda TP or BlueDragon, Must be one hell of a pay cheque from Sammy .

Anway unless you're a DieHard Sonic nut and love Sonic to Bits, best stay clear of Sonic onthe 360. Its unfinished and buggy and just a mess in places , picks up about 80% done, but the sh8t controls will just do your nut in. A new low for the Sonic Team , Vicotry Goal was more done than this

Meaning it sucks.

Sonic on the Wii looks good tho, that game actually looks like the 3D version of the Megadrive games. Speed based linear levels/ sonic only playable character, plus it looks fun instead of tedious.

Is Sonic no good then? I thought the demo was OK but naturally the full game should be better.

I won't go into detail, but speaking as someone who really enjoyed SA1/2, didn't think Heroes was too bad, and even found Shadow the Hedgehog enjoyable, Sonic 360/PS3 is bad to an unfathomable level, to the point where levels become bearly playable.

But I've said that in the relevent topic.

I'm wary of Lost Planet now with it being only scoring a little better than Sonic and Motorstorm getting the same total

It is basically Sonic Adventure 3.

It also looks to have about as much depth as a Rayman/Warioware/Monkeyball style mini-game. Just dodging from left to right as the level zooms by is going to get old pretty quickly.

Maybe it's time to declare Sonic a dead franchise, where it can join the rotting corpse of SEGA in a dark corner somewhere in Tokyo.

Famitsu is magazine shaped so you can roll it up and shove it up your ass, as this is all its good for of late.

For the longest time, I've come across ppl blasting famitsu and chose to remain silent.
Well, I'm not in a good mood today, so I've vent a bit ^^

As someone who personally knows a famitsu scorer (yes, it's actually quite a stressful job), I feel a slight pinch when I hear ppl saying 'etc etc etc'.

Sure you might disagree. Hell, I thought the original ninja gaiden on xbox was terrible.
My friend gave it a NINE! I had a quick chat with him and told him the camera was terrible, couple with some other flaws I couldn't remember. Instead, he told me the game was fun for him!

Then, he felt GG:OD was a sub-par game but I had a great time.

Maybe for this particular sonic, their version is fixed?

I don't know the answer to that (I'm not brave enuff to try it out yet). But please, do not insult the intergrity of the reviewers. They DO know their stuff. They might just have a difference in opinions, like everyone else on this forum. I point to this site's OutRun2 review, just to evoke the memories for some people here.

I doubt that, anyone with half a brain can see that Sonic is Half finished.
It might be "fun" as plenty of **** games are, but this doesn't stop them having glaringly obvious flaws that spoil the experience.
There is certainly something iffy going on with that score.

Imagine if jurassic park had been made entirely with Dinosaur shaped candles instead of CG Dinosaurs.

i remember buying a usa version of gamepro when i was in airport

saw the reviews think one game got a 4 7 9 from the 3 reviewers

So the game could be bad, average or good. Best review system ever, it just cannot fail.
