I've been playing Zelda for years and used to play games in the series constantly at one stage. I always wanted to play it in its as much as an original form as possible, and the Wii didn't fit that criteria for me because I'm a bit of a stickler for originality and having things the way they were intended. The Wii way just isn't suited to me and my style of play on the game.
I like to fly all over the place circling enemies in and out
and then the big flying jump attack as much as is possible, and I know I wouldn't be able to do this aswell on the Wii version because of having a slight disability in my right hand. I had a go on the Wii version and had to keep re-adjusting every time and it was too frustrating because of this disability and not being able to keep eveything flowing.
Obviously its because of my nerve damage but its for this reason I won't be buying a Wii anyway because I know i will struggle. I also got a certain amount of snobbery on another forum just for even saying that I always wanted to play the GC instead of the Wii. Which was quite shocking really as long as I am enjoying the game in some way.
