Anyone else downloaded the PES2008 demo off the UK store yet?

Just given it a whirl and it's not as bad as people say. It does play a lot like WE6, which is no bad thing, but lets hope the Japanese release will be more WE like...

I thought it looked and played the same as the 360 version to be honest.

Again from GAF Demo doesn't work on PAL systems.

It is not region locked. It is bug related where the demo is looking for the PAL movie content on a disc that is not there.

Yeah I got it last night. You can play it on your UK account after downloading it with the US one (if you have a US machine). Its bizzare because I they intended it to be US only, why bother filling storage space with Italian + other EU languages :\.

The demo starts in the games 4th chapter, but its incredibly light on the story. The games got plenty of badguys to shoot and platforms to get across. Looking forward to the completed game tbh.

I've got a USA PS3

Didn't like Drake at all. It felt like Gears of War mixed with Tomb Raider.

Or, more importantly, it had all of the faults that Tomb Raider and Gears have.

I found the shooting controls really twitchy. Annoyingly, you move the cross hair to the position you want, only to have it reset itself when you duck for cover.

I had high hopes for this too. Plenty of other games do this kind of thing better than Drake does.
