Red Steel (just didnt perform like I'd hoped)
Enchanted Arms (really was overhyped... i was drawn in by the RPG tag)

Only one I have played this year is GT Pro Series (Wii) it was bought for Christmas by the parents for me. They thought because it had a steering wheel with it they thought it would be good.

It's getting traded for WarioWare in January.

Well, where to begin...? So many unimaginative, cookie cutter FPS's, of which Prey stands out by dint of being particularly worthless. Then there's the cynical cash in that was the 360 Pro Evo - 'next gen' my arse. And 'Red Steel' appeared to be a failure in most respects based on a short time playing it.

Another vote for 360 Pro Evo here. As a huge fan of the series i can't put into words just how disappointed i was with this utterly half-arsed travesty. The ps2 version is superior in every single way,
I actually found this half finished parody of Pro Evo borderline insulting, especially considering the series' pedigree.

Not sure about Worst game, but there have been many disappointments:
Call of Duty 3
Tony Hawk Project 8
Monkey Ball BB
Dark Messiah of Might and Magic
Battlefield 2142

To name but a few! Thankfully there have been surprises too

I don't honestly think i've played a truly bad game all year, but Tales of legendia and Grandia 3 let me down a fair bit.

OMG I totally forgot about Grandia 3, that was dire! I lost a lot of hope with Squeenix lately... IE: Drakengard, Grandia 3, Musashi....

They go through really huge dry spells... The last amazing PS2 game Squeenix made was Star Ocean Till the End of Time then Final Fantasy 12.

(but Star Ocean was enix was it not? Just it wasnt published in the US until after the merger.)

I only played the 360 demo of Sonic but its the worst thing i've played this year.
Infact its by far the worst thing i've played in my entire life. Completely ****ing ****.

Sonic isn't the worst game this year, but it's definantly the most depressing game relese this year. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

It is the worst game from a proper developer, Midas interactive games don't count.
Everytime I try to play Sonic I end up wanting to throw my 360 through the window
