    What's your primary games console?

Just had a weird thought bumbling about in my head, but I play my 360 all day when I have a day off on a weekday and I sometimes forget I own a Wii!

Now, I love nintendo, MS and sometimes sony but why don't I turn my wii on despite having trauma centre and elebits to finish off?

Instead I obsess about 7 friggin orbs on crackdown!

So, my primary games machine is the 360... it seems, but I'd prefer it to be the Wii. I just can't seem to put my finger on it, maybe a combination of achievement points, true hi definition picture and the games out now all add up, hopefully once the Wii ball gets rolling like the 360 then i'll appreciate it alot more.

For me, it's the PS2. Been playing Chikyuu Boueigun 2 all day. Wasn't too keen at first, but after a couple of hours, I've realised it's one of the best games ever made!!!

I have the usual SFC, Mega Drive, Saturn, DS, but they all just sit their unused or are boxed up never to be used again.

In terms of sheer amount of use, probably my PS2 (though I now play PS2 games on the PS3).

But as PS2 releases dry up, that torch will probably switch to the 360. I use it more than my PS3 and Wii, and generally prefer to buy multiformat games on the 360 unless the PS3 version has 1080p or other features.

Mind you, the PS2 was a bit crap at first, and turned out to have to most diverse software lineup of any console, so who knows...

PS2 for me aswell. As I am on a reduced income due to ill health and I got it modded for downsizing some games in my new house. I just won't be making any switches to this gen until I can delve into my own niche for the games I play on any of the new machines. The 360 doesn't have this and neither does the Wii.

It just hasn't formed on any of the new machines yet. Whereas on the PS2 there's still some of the best games of the kind I play still coming, and they're still improving aswell. I've still got my GC and 6 "retro" consoles set up ready to play whenever though. This gen doesn't hold anything for me - as of yet. Nothing has formed to suit my playing needs.

            These days?

Most of my gaming is on the 360. It used to be on the PS2, and before that the PSone. If we're talking early ninties, it was the Amiga all the way, with a brief intersection of the PC for a couple of years. Spectrum and C64 split both ways before that.

To be honest, as much as i love my 360 collection, i'd have to say my Dreamcast still gets the majority of time on it.

An hour of Third Strike with my housemate when we get in from work, a blast on KOF '99, beating scores on Bangaio and Ikaruga, playing through Shenmue 2 and Skies of Arcadia again...yep, defo the 'Cast

              Crackdowns slowly creeping in though

I forgot i even had a Wii too,if i do play its VC stuff anyways...

Wii for me, there isn't anything on 360 that is keeping my attention. I tend to watch more HD Films rather than play games.

I play on my DS everyday for 5 minutes at least.

In the last year, I'd say PSP. I'd say it works out about 50% PSP, 40% DS, 6% 360, 3% Wii and 1% all the others.

At home the 360 probably 95% of the time, other 5% Cube/PS2.

On the move, DS for gaming and PSP for program watching.

Has to be the PlayStation 2.

Plays all my old PSone games so retro is sorted, my collection of PS2 games is my most played and I still have Tomb Raider Anniversery to look forward to.

Most played console of all time is a close call between my Mega Drive, Xbox or PSone. Mega Drive was due entirley to Sonic, Xbox sustainted me playing Halo Co-Op for over 5 years and the PSone for Endless Tekken, Quake 2, Tomb Raider and Metal Gear Solid playtime.

After a slow start in the PS2's life, more and more quality games started appearing and as a result, the PS2 has become my primary games console.

Probably my 360 right now. It was my PS2 until about last March, but after Oblivion's release I haven't really looked back. Other than that, the DC, PS2 and Wii all get bouts of interest from time to time.

The DS comes in handy when snuggled up in bed late at night or on the move.

I go through phases of consoles, Probably my favorite is the Saturn but the one I've played the most is the PS1.

I'd like to say PC but thats not a console I guess - Between the big PC titles and emulation it gets a lot of use though.

My GC and PS2 also get used a lot. Can't say which more, i've got more cube games, but I don't think I necessarilly use it more than the PS2.
