How large are levels likely to be, download size wise?

My sluggish broadband means it might not be worth getting this game if all the great levels are massive, and would take me all week to download.

But you have to understand that because spaz was a common derogatory term Spastics in itself became a ridiculed term thats the whole reason it got changed to Scope because of idiiots in this country. Its happened with other terms ie the term negro became basterdised and the n word was born meaning a vile term. Spaz and spastic mean two different things born out of the same phrase but thick pillocks cant disasociate spastic and spaz and think its funny to call disabled people spaz when in fact their calling them a subhuman disabled retard. The term is nearly 30yrs old, everyone knows what it means in the UK and its got no place in our games in UK. If people dont know what scope is than thats their own ignorance.

Some of you might find it funny but if you where disabled you would understand the amount of crap that is associated with that word. But again its always the disabled that get treated like a POS before everyone else (we where the last to gain human rights in this country for discrimination April of last year) and I thank the goverment for still not being able to get on public transport,into shops and have to share a toilet with a soiled baby

Anyway not talking about it anymore. Can we please keep away from thinking its funny and ok to use it though in UK as it aint in games its as deelply offensive as you can get. The reason Ive gone off on one is regarding this recall of LBP. People think its funny to post shots of the nintedo games laughing over it when its deeply offensive to me and others who are disabled. It got recalled for a reason and it was done quiet with zero fuss from the disabled community when the news broke wheras two sentances from the Quran everyones going ape over in the news.

No-one really went "ape" over this LBP issue too, the guy who brought it up on the Sony forums was very well mannered about it. The only people going ape about it are the people going "oh no it got delayed cos of some idiot" or "oh no the game got delayed cos the muslims/Quran".

Let us know what that covers regarding creating levels. TBH I imagine the best bet is wait a few weeks then download some other top maps and see how they're doing it. That calculator from the Beta, for example.

I'll keep an eye out for the guide. Hopefully it won't be too pricey.

Funny cas I thought it was all over the news even CNN and all news networks/radio etc... even my postman knew about it. I didnt say muslims going ape I said everyones going ape over in the news which they are every news companys picked up on it. It was the whole point of my post regarding how the media reacted diffferently to this over the recall with nintendos game. The media ie news are lapping this story up big time.

I do find it funny that when I had a rant everyone said oh lets get back on topic when I was expressing the same opinions because it was about recals in general. Some things are more uncomfortable to read and talk about than others but we do live in such an apathetic world that if it doesnt affect me I dont care. Sorry its uncomfortable for some of you but I was only expressing my views on recals in general which is just as important as recals to do with religion and that topic ran on and on on here. If we can talk about recalls on this thread we should be able to talk about em and not just the religous ones and then turn around and say to me its not part of the topic when Ive got upset over attitudes of one recall especially when their was pics of it plastered on here with people laughing at it. If you dont point out to people that its wrong if they dont understand then how will people learn to change their opinions. If I cant respond over recalls in general on here unless its religious based then I find its a tad hypercritical and actually disapointing in your attitudes.

there seems to be a patch 1.01 or somthing, i havent downloaded it as i think the banned song is funny to show off lol

I read the patch keeps the song but loops around the lyrics or something. I've not replayed the level to find out. Other than that, from what I've seen it's fixed the level start spawning time - previously it used to hang for 1/2 a second when you jumped in to the level.

There were a fair few US copies and PAL promos on ebay about 4-5 days before the re-call. Then all the prices shot up.

i wouldn't be jealous the people on here had the promo really early and only paid retail prices for it. Everyone else paid an absolute fortune for the game.
Current Ebay prices are around ?100-?160 for it, mentalism of the highest order...

Just to clarify, as I was one of the first to suggest a return to topic, that I just meant that this thread was for discussing LittleBigPlanet and although the recall was part of that, I think the discussion, although initially relevant to this game, was moving elsewhere and expanding into a much bigger discussion.

I suggested a new thread could be started in General Gaming as this issue affected other games as well and so they could be discussed in context. I don't mind what is discussed and realise that it is an important issue that affects many people in many ways, but I was also thinking about what would happen if someone was to come to the site and start reading this thread, interested in the latest updates on the game, only to find a rather different discussion in place.

So let's just be clear, I merely suggested that the discussion be moved into its own thread - this was not meant to be hypocritical, offensive or misconstrued.
