That's a potential minefield isn't it? 95% of all the community levels I've seen have been 'inspired' by another game - makes me wonder about gamers imaginations! I'm reserving my hearts for all the truly original stuff I see (unless something just blows my socks off like the Gradius tribute)

I'm sure people will just start to be more careful with what they name and tag the levels really.

I'm stuck on what I think is the last level. I can't imagine ever completing it. The controls are too imprecise for the complexity of the level really IMO.

it's a shame these are going for so much, the missus loves sackboy and I was going to get her one for Christmas, but 25 quid for a 3" toy is a bit much. Plus they're not even plush, they're solid plastic! I wonder if I could learn how to knit in the 4 weeks

This is old news it seems.
Serioulsy though, did they actually delete the level "Failure to Launch" cause it used the same name of the film?
Im all for moderation to an extent but why cant MM just delete the offensive/copyrighted stuff rather than deleting someone entire level that they have put so much work into?
GoW level removed, Mario level Removed, Gears of War themed level removed.
Will the cool looking Mirrors Edge level go next? when will the madness end?

This is rubbish. I personally don't see how it damages anyone's IP - IMO it only makes a stronger connection between company and consumer.

Also - the Mirrors Edge level was IMMENSE. Sorry to be a dick but it was so well played out - followed the footsteps of the demo exactly.

Whether it damages the IP or not isn't relevant to whether someone would have a problem with it appearing on the platform. God of War makes no sense for removal, but any MS or Nintendo themed IP - you can't understand why they might not want that to exist?

This is always a problem with user-generated content. It's like dealing with a company that uses sweatshops to make your shoes rather than owning the sweatshop directly I guess. Certainly YouTube has been like that.

But to go heavy-handed on a community-based game destroys the point of it and will just piss people off. If Nintendo or someone have a complaint, fair enough. Otherwise, let the community make their levels.
