only a few full games available for download - lemmings and blast factor at a price of ?3.49 each, Gripshift at a cost of ?4.99 and Tekken DR at a cost of ?6.99 (which is cheaper than the US store).

Also, for those who care about these things, you can use your debit card rather than a credit card to put funds into your PSN wallet.

Download speeds are very good - though whether they remain so come friday is something we will just have to wait and see.

Create a new profile on your PS3 mate and goto PlayStation Store; should be able to do it like that.

I've been creating accounts, then change the log-in info on the one I want to access save having multiple profiles on my PS3.

I do thanks, just out of interest how big is it? Just woundering what download time is going to be like.

No you can download but not play at the same time, which i find very annoying.

It's about 650MB. No background downloading until 1.6 Firmware drops Friday.

And sadly you can't leave the XMB while downloading either (So no games or Blu-Ray movies ), even with the 1.6 patch. Hopefully they'll sort it at some point.

oh thats a shame, so u can only carry on looking around teh XMB while downloading? What about game like Tekken etc can you not play them at the same time? or surf the web?

I personally don't know until the update comes out. Not sure if it was confirmed what Number45 either. I guess we'll find out Friday or hopefully Thursday midnight.

The 360 has resources, RAM, bandwidth etc allocated for background tasks like downloading, chat, mp3 player etc, so these (and anything else) can always run in the background. The PS3 does not have this, therefore they cannot do background downloading while a game is running without affecting game performance.
