I've just played through medium and it's pretty good. My main problem is I don't know the colours automatically so I have to read the arrows - tricky on the doubles and on endurance mode.

I beat one of your scores Silvergun
But that's only medium and only on one track... more practice needed.

Must admit, being color-blind the green and yellow (down and up) look very similar to me and on those I have to check the direction arrow each time, does make life a bit harder, but a very good game overall.

I had to turn the arrows off and go with no markings because I'm so used to the positions of the arrows on screen in DDR games. When the left arrow appeared on the right of the screen I was completely losing the flow.

I'm loving this but I'm crap...
All we need now is the DDR mat!

Yeah, I get those two confused - I can see the colour difference but for some reason my brain says Green = Up. Green is the main button for so many things it just seems it should be like that...

Plus I use the d-pad anyway, so the colours are arbitrary. Might as well just be arrows.

I'm getting that too. It's not hard to remember the button presses but it's as though occasionally I have a blind spot in my mind where I'm not picking up on certain arrow combinations (following each other).

I started off with the d-pad, but find it much easier using the buttons, what's the general opinion ?

/looks at Silvergun for some much needed assistance, as I am struggling, even on medium

The d-pad is easier for the diagonals. That's why I switched to it from the buttons.

heh didn't even know there were diagonals, did all songs on easy, then the first on normal and that's as far as I've got

I've only played the demo but the music is so piss poor I won't be persevering. The gameplay doesn't feel tightly tied enough to the music and the feedback for getting it right is just, well, weak.

Give me Samba or Space Channel any day of the week.
What he said. Found the whole thing dreadfully dull.

Funny how marmite this is - I'm concerned (from other forum posts) that a lot of people are unable to see by the EA logo for whatever reason ??

The main complaint seems to be that the timing of this was crap in light of GH2 the week before - but I doubt that everybody bough GH2 for £65 and so this little rythm game for 800 points would be ideal.

It's a great game - I love the ambience, I love the visuals, It controls well and it costs £6 ffs !

When is XBLA gonna hit the **** drought again ? That's what I'm wondering !!

The way I play, is by only using the face buttons, and with arrow markers. I hold the controller so i've got my index and middle fingers on the buttons.

Yeah me too - arrow markers and buttons.

Anybody tried using their GH2 guitar yet ? I thought changing the fireworks to just colours and using the guitar might work nicely ??

Silvergun - the length of time you played this for yesterday was absolutely

I get like that with music rhythm games.

52 million on Tail Light Sonata (Hard). GET IN!

I've fought my way back up to the top of highest scorers this week and combined leaderboard medium now. That's my fix for today!
