THREE consoles, and you're asking which other ones to take? At uni you'll have your hands full studying, socialising and generally having a good time, taking 4+ consoles is just crazy and asking for theft.

And saying you're 'naked' without ALL your consoles? Come on man, get a grip. Just take maybe your Wii or 360 (fun for multiplayer), and a DS or PSP. It's not like you're going to be able to afford a game for each system every month, is it?

Well said. I ain't having my precious gear nicked, so I'm keeping all of it at home, bar the DS and Ouendan, and God willing, it's sequel. The rest of time will be divided between groping, wooing and studying, in order of importance.

Aye, most of mine will be going on ebay before I go uni (if I do go uni). I'll be selling them anyway, I did a big clearout recently and still have too many games around.

I've got to agree with others, I don't see how you could really put much time into all those consoles, even if you weren't at uni. I'll try and get some good gaming time in while i'm at home in my year out, as I feel it'll be the last year where I really have a decent amount of time for games.

Take the game console that has the best pick up and play multiplayer gaming for you. At uni, about 99% of my games playing time was spent on Mario Kart Double Dash, Pro Evo 3/4 and Age of Empires 2, admittedly on 3 different formats, but it'll generally more than likely just be the same game or 2 you end up playing over and over again.

I found thanks to it's large range of frantic pick up and play 4 player multiplayer games that the Gamecube was by far the most used console at uni just for games like Super Smash Bros, Mario Golf, Mario Tennis, Mario Kart, F-Zero etc. So I think if I was still at uni, my wii would probably be by far the most used console

Don't take anything. This is a new chapter in your life, go find a woman and study.

I think I played more SNES Mario Kart during my time at uni than anything else. Some of my housemates were demons at it.

One is enough in my opinon. If it were down to me I would just take xbox 360. But Nintendo Wii is ideal due to size.

Having a games console at uni provides a bloody good (social) night in without spending too much money (a 4 or 8 pack of whatevers reduced at the local supermarket and some snacks). It's also one of the few times you'll find so many opponents readily availible for large scale mplayer sessions too.
