Could be a few places doing it too, powerplaydirect were doing it with 360 version so it maybe with some online retailers.

Wouldn't GAME notice it had been bought elsewhere though? When I bought The Club last week they put a sticker mentioning something about refunds on the package, even though it was sealed.

Prior to that I hadn't bought anything instore since Shenmue II for the DC, so I've no idea if that's a common practice or not.
