Just got kotoba puzzle mojipittan, god i love that game the soundtrack is awesome. Shame my vocab is limited but hey i can still play half the puzzles, only stumble at the ones that ask for complex word manipulation.

Really wish they would make an english version of it.

Only gripe i have about wiiware is the size of the files im having to delete loads just to get the damn things on my wii.

Yeah you can save them to sd but you still cant run them from it which means copying back & forth

The funny thing is the wii has like 4 pages for channels yet you could probably only fill like 2 of them (unless you buy loads of famicom games only) with the small amount of memory you're given.

Another thing i found out sorta recently is some game's save data are apparently locked to the system. As i tried to copy my Smash Brawl save data to sd card and it wouldn't let me, and then got told by someone that certain save data is locked to the system. So thats 128+ blocks i can't back up to sd card

Yeah I've noticed that too Kuso, but i thinks it only games that are online that can't be transferred as the only saves that don't transfer for me are: Mario&Sonic, Mario Strikers and Endless Ocean (not 100% sure on that one) and they're the only games that i have that are online.

My wii randomly died on Christmas eve, sent it back to Nintendo and it arrived 3 months later, all the saves were gone but was able to download 100% saves for my VC games and mario galaxy, Resi evil UC, Resi 4 and Warioware.
So they're all alright but like said it looks like online titles may not be transferable for saves which sucks

Nope anything which has an online component cant be copied or moved, probaby done to stop online cheating but it's a **** system really.

Isnt a new thing either the gamecube had some games that locked saves.

Yes there is, Puzzloop will be arriving in Japan sometime this month as well as a few other nintendo developed titles, expect them to be released either later this month or at the start of May.

There is a rumour though that they may wait until after e3 so as not to steal e3's thunder that nintendo will be releasing some sort of backup device for VC and new wiiware games to alleviate storage problems and this means we may see the wii ware games get delayed until this is announced at e3.

It extremely unlikely this is going to be a hard drive though, due to piracy problems associated with hard drive storage. We may be looking at DS card size flash cards with up to 2Gigabits of storage, via an adaptor. and since they want the ds flash card official download system to be as widespread as possible, they may include the writing of functionality into this device and games for the Gb/GBC/GBA download service could be bought through the Virtual store.

These are the latest rumours eminating from japan anyway, via a nintendo magazine forum out there.

I hear the USA Wii Ware channel is now available, can anyone confirm before I go through the trouble of configuring that damned USB adaptor again?
