The reason I questioned it was because of that video, there's three separate cuts and each seems to have a separate time of day and a slightly different location in rapid succession. It doesn't just change from one to the other.

All they've said is that you'll be able to race day & night and not mentioned whether it will be a full day/night cycle. It certainly looks like it does but it's still not been confirmed.

You'd be amazed how long this has been discussed on GTP, it's going crazy on there at the moment as they'd built up so much hype for this at E3.

I'm looking forward to seeing the proper in-game photomode screen captures as that uses a mind numbing 18 megapixel camera!

Maybe its because day - night takes longer than the trailer had time to show it

I'm hoping that there will be the option to chose the time as well rather than it just working out the time and weather that's actually at the track your racing on.

I wonder if they'll have real time 24 hour races in the game, not sure if a PS3 could stay on for that long before exploding though. I know they have both the 24 Hours N?rburgring and the 24 Le Mans race licensed so I suppose it's possible they may go for it.

Having said that, I think that the Circuit de la Sarthe is probably the most boring track in motor racing so I'll be trying to avoid the one lap Le Mans race as well as the 24 hour version.

Le Mans on the DC had it.... Crazy. I tried the 6 hour once. Didn't win though.

The trailer yesterday looked so awesome, but the madrid footage above looks pretty, but a bit dull.
