The thing is, games with fantastic art direction/style have flopped sales wise such as Okami and Jet Set Radio.

When interviewed about about Clover's demise, Inafune said pretty bluntly that Clover *expletive* up marketing for its games. Jet Set Radio, in the other hand, came to console that was already doomed.

It's all about whether a title is developed from the ground up for a particular platform.

Games like Ico and Okami easily rivalled the best on the 'superior' Xbox, just as some Spectrum games could square up to the best the C64 had to offer.

Looks like now we'll be seeing even more multi-platform titles than ever though. For the very best visuals look to the very few platform exclusives though.

As for the Wii it'll be down to design rather than graphical grunt.

*Wonders what happened to E3 predictions*

I personally hope they announce some Wii and DS Zelda dates.

it's already out on pc so it won't be an exclusive :P

Don't expect to see Heavy Rain at E3 guys.

It's unveiling is apparently going to be at TGS. After the announcement of Sony's partnership with Quantic Dream, I thought that was going to be a precursor to a detailed look at what they're working on in Sony's press conference.

Halo Warswill be shown to the press.

We?ve been working towards a mini-milestone of sorts, called the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). The good news for Halo Wars fans who have been hanging in there waiting for more information and or images from the game is that we will be showing a small demo of the game for select members of the press at E3. The team here at Ensemble Studios has been at work on preparing the demo for the last couple of weeks and it has come together nicely. It just shows a small slice of our game off to give the press an idea of what we?re all about.

Thanks to E3, we will likely see some first impression articles about the game appearing on the web or in magazines in the days and weeks to follow. This is also about the time that we?ll be going live with a new version of our Halo Wars website, which will largely just be a visual change, but reflect some of the new stuff revealed at E3.

E3 takes place in Los Angeles next week, so the wait is going to be relatively short!

To be honest I'm more interested finding out more about the Peter Jackson/Weta/Bungie collaboration. Not entirely sure it'll show though.

Given Peter Jackson didn't even know what it was less than a year ago it's probably too early. :/

Shame about Heavy Rain, but also glad about Halo Wars. It will be interesting to see ES's take on making a strategy game for the xbox 360.

According to IGN's podcast, one (old) classic Nintendo 1st party franchise will see "resurrection" during E3. Kid Icarus or Punch-Out, I guess...

                              - Nintendo need to cool it a bit with old franchises and create some new IP. So i'm hoping something great will be announced as well as better 3rd party support because its awful just now.

                              - New titles for PS3 and some exclusives, plus a price cut.

                              - PSP Redesign
