Conan demo coming to PSN on the 11th.

Ooh, nice. I'm tempted to pick that up so a demo is most welcome.

The wallpapers are up on the US store now. There are some new LocoRoco ones up too, or at least that I hadn't seen before.

Well, I for one thoroughly enjoyed the Simpsons demo. The only problem (Other than that it was a poor choice for a showcase) was that the camera really struggled when it got tight.

It looks clean and crisp (The fire is absolutely stunning), it sounds great and controls really well. I've been keeping an eye out for this anyway, but assuming it doesn't get totally panned at review it's gone from maybe to definitely.

I quite enjoyed what I played of it although I didn't have much time to spend with it so will finish it off later.

I think the things that hurts it most is the choice of level - I think most of the levels for the finished thing are quite open so they seem to have chucked a closed boss fight in to make things easier for themselves. Sadly it's not the best way of showcasing the game.

It made me laugh a few times (which is more than the TV show manages these days) and played as well as I was expecting given that it's not entirely dissimilar in approach from Hit and Run.

Was never going to be a Day One purchase for me but I'll be looking to pick it up when cheap enough.

I've enjoyed t quite a bit and wouldn't be at all surprised if I ended up buying this one!

But also I'm wondering if I'd be interested in the game without the Simpsons branding...

I enjoyed it too when I realised what I was supposed to be doing! Will still be buying it I think, mainly for the co-op.

Made me laugh as well, which isn't something games manage very often.

I think the Tv show is one of the most overrated things ever but i'd agree with everyone else that this demo was guninely funny to me.

Wasn't bad at all, though the lock on feature with Barts slingshot seems to be implemented quite badly as half the time it wasnt locking onto what i wanted it too. I only managed to take the first lot of energy off the boss too, as i had no idea how to land high enough on him to punch his second weak spot once i opened it up. Also i dont really get why bart can glide when there hardly seems a difference bewteen doing that and just falling.

Was still fun though, but not sure i'll buy it.

I found that I had to do exactly that - use Bart's gliding.

The last weak spot frustrated me for the long time.

In the end I ended up jumping off the construction crane onto it!

I quite enjoyed the demo. Certainly made me laugh which the show doesn't do at all. Watching the video at the end though, it looked like the entire game might be pretty much the same as the demo (which I was quite frustrated with after taking so long on the last weak spot). Might pick it up pre owned but it's definitely not a day one purchase for me.

Ahh, well the glidings too annoying so i cant be bothered.

The full game looked differnt from the demo to me though, the demo is just a boss fight, I think the rest of the game features proper levels.

It does indeed, thought the demo was OK, nothing fantastic though - quite a compliment seeing as I dislike the Simpsons full stop.

I meant in terms of gameplay really. Nothing really stood out in the movie clip that was any different to the stuff (ie. inhaling the air as homer, cape floating as bart etc...) in the boss battle demo.

Although obviously thats pretty much the same with every game

Conan demo is coming to the US store this Thursday apparently (Along with R&C, I'd imagine). Looking forward to trying it out.

People are talking about a COD4 and a PES demo soon
