PSN Maintenance (4pm 28/10/10 - 12:30am *thursday night* 29/10/10)

I thought I'd post this as new to avoid all the usual posts that appear when these things happen. It's always worth checking the PSN Status Page if you ever have difficulties logging in.

PlayStation Network is offline for scheduled maintenance from 16:00 on Thursday 28 October 2010 until 00:30 on Friday 29 October 2010, BST.

During the maintenance, you will be unable to access the following services:

• PlayStation Store on PS3, PSP and PC.
• PlayStation Network Account Management.
• PlayStation Network Account Registration.

If you wish to play online during the maintenance, please ensure you sign in to PSN before 16:00 on Thursday 28 October 2010.

During this maintenance, you can continue to collect in-game trophies and these will be updated on your profile once PlayStation Network is back up and running.

I've got a feeling that it's just being updated for the new PlayStation Rewards programme which begins testing this week in the US.

Anyone ever pre-ordered a game from PSN and pre-downloaded it before release? Is the game playable at 00:01 on Friday morning?

Apparently Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus are ?1.91 for the pair with a PS+ sub (a hefty bank-breaking ?2.39 without). A really sweet deal for a couple of awesome games.

OK, no ni kuni ps3, I'm doing it again, there's two files a small 6 gig saying game, and a 16 gig one, which do I install first? 3rd time lucky I hope.

Some of the PSN pricing is crazy. I can buy RE4 for €10. Or I can buy RE4 plus Code Veronica for... €10. I can buy PS3 God of War Chains of Olympus for €17.99. Ghost of Sparta is the same, or I can buy them both together for €12.99, less than a single game.
