Well that's a bit of good news!!! It seems that you can sort your games, demos & photos etc into different albums now and list them via album.

I've set up a Demo album and put all the demos in there. This makes things so much better when you have loads of stuff downloaded!

When you say Demo album, did you create it manually? I can only seem to create a folder by format so PlayStation 3 or PlayStation at the moment.
I would like to have a folder for demos and then a folder for PSN games etc.. but there seems no way to do this unless I'm missing something!

Press Triangle on whatever you want to put in an album, Information and there is an album setting there.

You just type in the name of the album you want to put it in. I've split mine up into Demo. retro, PS1 etc

You then have the choice in the XMB of sorting by album.

When you download new things, can you specify where they go to, or do you have to move them afterwards?

If I remember, you could pick where to download videos to previously?

You have to chose once they are downloaded. They download as album Unknown.

Its a good little feature, but not obvious to find.
I'm sure they could implement it better in future, but at least it keeps my XMB nice and tidy!

Just tryed to down load it from the Jp playstaion site with the pc and it said 9 hours!

Download it from the EU website then. Assuming it's on there? It's the same firmware. I usually download it from there as doing it via my Japanese PS3 always takes forever.

Anyone got a link to it as the PS site is sloooooooooow as hell and my machine is on 7% after well over an hour.

Downloaded off the Australian site and it was done within a couple of minutes

Its a shame the information thingy cant be used for any types of feeds.
Would be great for the site, ie "Ntsc-UK COD4 game on" etc
