1. The soundtrack has very little appeal. Most of these songs you wouldn't want to hear on the radio, let alone buying a game to hear them out of choice. Why would the public be interested in this game?
2. The advert is rubbish in that is only shows 1 song, and that's not even one that has any mainstream appeal. They should have advertised it by either showing a mix of the songs on offer or used something like Sk8ter Boi.

I bought EBA this morning. To be honest I haven't seen any of the TV ads for the game, my desire to have the game came from playing Ouedan (1) which my mate owns. I fell in love with Ouedan and unfortunately for the social aspect of visting him during the summer he couldn't get me off the thing. I loved the fact that one of my fav J-Pop bands were on the game and the rest of the songs were just amazing.
I decided to buy EBA because I am an impatient person who could not wait to purchase Ouendan and wait for delivery (what with the RM strikes and stuff), but to be honest I'd have to say I'm kind of disappointed with the song selection for the game. There are a few missions where the songs do not fit the scenario in any way shape or form, and quite frankly there are a tonne of better songs that could have been put in their place. I won't name the missions or songs that totally disappointed me in case anyone is still after getting it for themselves...

This is EXACTLY what the "Ouendan maniacs" who slate EBA for the seeming sake of it don't seem to understand. Instead, they seem to be under the impression that the Ouendan songs are somehow cooler or better just because it's J-Pop.
If the songs are cheesy/corny/kitsch in EBA, then they're every bit as cheesy/corny/kitsch in Ouendan 1 & 2. I'm sorry, but that's a fact.Last edited by Nu-Eclipse; 02-10-2007, 08:06.
