Super Streetfighter 2 Turbo - Saturn Vs Dreamcast?

Which of these is the superior version (if indeed they are the same game) - SSF2T on the Streetfighter Collection or the DC outing?

    Cheers

Depends if you have a Arcade stick or not.
As the DC pad ain't really suited.

Saturn is the one I play the most, as the DC version will not out put RGB. Even when used with DCX to force it to display RGB, you'll lose about 3/4 of the screen.
It will display in s-video and horrible RF!

    Go for the Saturn version!

Cheers for that - arcade sticks all the way baby!

But, other than the RGB thing, are there any discernible differences between the games? Are they the same?

Hee hee - I got the patch for the RGB fix

The DC version patched is superb, the DC arcade sticks are just
Saying that - both versions play superb.

Got to put a mention in for the saturn loading times, a bit slow, which is why I prefer playing it on kawaks I'm sure the Dreamcast loading is faster though.

            Hi

Can someone please tell me about the rgb patch dor the super street fighter 2 X on dreamcast. Ive got the game but it only displays 1/4 of the screen. How does the patch work, what actually is it, and how can i get one?

            Thanks

SS SSF2X has slowdown not present in the arcade version on certain stages such as Dee Jay's. The DC port is probably the most faithful console version, though still not perfect but it also looks the worst (except for the 3DO rev).

You'll need a CDR back-up to be able to add patches etc.

I'm still looking for an RGB patched SSFIIX also.

Can't remember where I posted it before but the DC version of SSF2X/T absolutely pisses all over the Saturn version...

And it's so much harder too!

I play it on my PC with PS stick adaptors. Nothing like the arcade original.

I have an original SSFII on the DC and I can get it to work with RGB, but only with my JAP DC.
