Game - What is their policy regards to price matching?

It's all done and dusted from looks of it, though they havn't merged their systems yet hence pricing differences.

swansea GAME (the main one) price matched HMV's price of guitar hero 2 which was which i think was £39.99 when it was £49.99 in GAME when it first came out. traded some stuff in for it and used my points.

It's a bit dumb that they will only price match Gamestation, considering GAME own Gamestation now.

I don't think it is the case that they will only price match Gamestation. Its what stores they have in the vicinity of them and if it is the case they only have a Gamestation near them then that is who they will price match, ownership doesn't come into it.

LOL, only indie down there is Chips and all their prices are near on RRP like Game, guess i'll have to shop online which is a shame really as you never are sure you'll get game on release.

Really miss the 10day free rental Game used to do, god did i take advantage as im sure many others did.

My local one won't match Supermarkets, HMV, Virgin or PC World, that policy is a waste of space imo.

If a customer asks in a polite and respectful way and the difference in price isn't all that much then the manager would be more likely to price match a local competitor. So many people come in with an attitude expecting you to bend over backwards when they talk to you like **** that its a surprise when somebody actually uses manners.

The voice of reason. oh and dont make up prices all the stores in a town talk and we shop in each others shops we are gamers first.
