The fact that this has the Neogeo startup makes this automatically better than Fatal Fury Special. That, and the fact that it's infinately more playable and the AI doesn't own you on the first fight.

Golden axe 3 only came out on the Japanese megadrive originally, never got a Pal release, so im guessing 'yes'

It would appear that the neo geo games will run at 50hz and bordered, although Fatal Fury does appear to run at the same speed as a US Neo Geo.

I'm tempted to buy Fatal Fury to just see how well it's been handled by the Wii. I'm not a big 2D fighter fan.

It's a shame they have charged more for the game. I suppose the NeoGeo is seen as more of a collectors console though which partly explains it.
