Wo Hoo looking forward to the DLC on PS3. And the patch thats up has made joining a game so much easier, the INVI glitch is gone , nobody all in yellow now, but the terrible Creator perk is still there, God said let there be light and there was light , in the form of a glowing diety which can travel from miles away to shine in your face before you die, grrrrr fix it Dice.

Keep in mind I thought Black Ops was a festering bag of ****e though Al. Last COD game I really liked was the first modern warfare.

Black Ops was one of the worst single player games I've ever played, although Battlefield 3's campaign isn't that bad its still pretty poor. Extremely buggy and linear, even more obviously so than the CoD campaigns. I did find the story itself was quite well done but it isn't anything special.
Not tried MW3 but I imagine it's the better SP game.

I found BF3 single player to be pretty much crap. Stopped playing it. Multiplayer is very good though

Looking forward to the new maps. I'm still not feeling "Battlefield" yet, just an expansion of BC2 - but with maps not as good Not sure any of the "standard" maps will go down as classics. There are many great Rush sections, but not across a whole map, if you know what I mean. Some of those maps in the map pack are classics imo, though I suspect they'll actually be very different (and smaller). The new maps are coming out at a good time, not too long since launch. Despite having maybe 25, 30 hours in it, I'm still learning the maps.

You should keep going. Some of the later levels are good imho. I loved the villa assault in particular - for some reason I actually remember all the levels in this, but the MW3 levels just slip out of my memory like my brain is broken.

I doub't I'd play it through again though, which is why I did it on hard first time out.

Hmm, this is news thread so..... I presume this is the Karkand pack, not something else I've missed news of?

You need a 2GB update before getting on the 360 though.

edit: looks like the update is the pack and then you purchase the right to use it separately (108KB)
