Yeah same ?123, figured after the Ebay fees there wouldn't be much difference and CEX means less hassle.

              Unbelievable.

I've had two launch fat DS's sitting around unused since I got my Lite which I've never been bothered to sell as not thought I'd get much for them.

With the shortage I thought I'd put them on eBay, first one sold Friday for £135 + P&P, second one just ended for £100 + P&P.

I love Nintendo and their inability to meet demand

They are still on Amazon France for round about RRP. Just ordered a white one.

Anyone know if it's likely that CEX will buy a white DS lite that is currently suffering from Nintendo's infamous "hinge crack"? It's only slight and it's certainly not getting any bigger but I've just treated myself to a brand new Gold one and don't really want to end up stuck with 2.

They would probably take it as a discounted item, you would still get ?108 for it.

Well, that's more than what I paid for my Gold one, so it's still a profit.

Edit: Just noticed I have to be a full member to sell to them, does it cost anything at all? All I can see on their website is that I need to provide some form of ID to open a member account.

I ordered a white one from Amazon.fr on Monday night, got it Wednesday. Paid around £100 for it, including the courier charges.

Why would anyone buy from CEX? It isn't even as if you need to speak French. Amazon.fr has all your details if you are an Amazon.co.uk user and all the buttons/menus are the same.

Was in my local Chips store the other day and the crafty sods were unpacking a rather hefty order of Pink DS Lites from Yes Asia and stickering them up for 149.99.

I wonder what Nintendo make of shops doing this.

And what was wrong with yours? I didn't think the black units suffered from the hinge crack.
