    Best Innovation: Halo 3

I take it they are trying to be funny or something.. Halo 3 above Portal in the innovation stakes? how do they figure that one out. Forge? because Crysis comes with a fully jump-in/out level editor.

Disagree, SMG's audio is sublime. I spent a good deal of time hitting different things in the world just to find out what sound they made when hit. The soundtrack is sublime (as is Bioshock's) but I wouldn't of said it's a big margin.

Sorry, I edited my comment out about Mario. Basically my reasoning is that yes, hearing the mario music in proper orchestral is lovely - but to be fair it's nintendo just about catching up with everybody else who's done it for years. It makes a real nice change from the blips and blops we're used to from Mario titles.

but Bioshock had a stunning Garry Schyman sound track and the best voice acting in a game to date. I'd of thought it was a no brainer for best audio. I should point out however im a complete Bioshock nutcase, and probably would of given it every award given the chance. not even in the top 3 for game of the year? lame.

They are just lucky they gave SMG the best game, if they'd of gone for Halo I'd of cancelled my subscription out of spite

Voice acting schmoice acting. No soundtrack made me smile more whilst listening to it than the SMG one. I don't care what was technically better.

Bit of a poor month for reviews imho. Must just be he post-Chrimbo slowdown.

Surprised they couldn't get review code for Burnout Paradise seeing as its out in just under a month.

oh, on smile's alone Mario Galaxy is untouchable, that game made me grin from the moment mario spoke when I put the disk in, until I collected my final star. Makes you feel sorry for any other developers to be honest, in terms of the platforming genre, I don't think you can get any better. It's an old artform perfected and the only way to really move it forward after sunshine is to innovate imo.

Anyone know why Front Mission only got a 6 despite being one of the best DS games out.

Added in the features and some extra reviews which weren't in the list I copied from rllmuk.

Also, apparently there are two different covers this month. The other one is blue and has Ryu on it.

                          Halo 3
Wtf, for me personally, Edge have just lost even more credibility.

Online and Innovation for H3 is taking the piss. I know Edge loves it, and I know it was hyped out of this galaxy. But looking at my friend's list every night, I rarely see anyone still playing it.

Innovation? Because of Forge? Come on!

                              Best innovation: Halo 3

                              HA!

Surely that's Edge justifying the 10.

They're bang right about SMG having the best audio though. Outside of having joyous music it's rammed with other intricacies.
