Really hope GTR2 makes it out though, in fact, any decent HD driving games would be welcome in 2008.

Yes they're hopes, lads. I seriously doubt if any of it will happen. Apart from the Nobi Nobi antics.

The sequals might make it but I'd be suprised if the Unreal 3 Powered Microsoft Games studio title makes it to PS3.

I'd settle for any sequels on PS3.

I'm not being a fanboy or anything, it's just my current gaming setup doesn't really allow me to do my usual and preferred late night gaming without being demoted to downstairs where I'd rather mong out in/on bed. The 360 sadly keeps the missus wide awake, so PS3 gets a lot more play. Just need more games and all them promised gubbins such as Trophies etc

Bit late with mine but playing today reminded me of it.

I really hope that dev's learn to sort out characters eyes in games for 2008.

Assassins Creed demonstrated this today and Mass Effect had the same problem - there's nothing worse than a character model that looks like they've got one eye on the meat and the other on the counter.

They go to all the effort of adding blemishes and pores to make the face look good and the characters eyes end up wonky and or glassed over like some kind of corpse.

1) I'd like the PS3 to match Xbox Live funtionality (as in how Live was in 2001). Unified Friends List with everyone having a headset would be a start. The PS3 matching Live as it is now is a wish for 2009. Proper competition would force MS to lower their prices too, which is good for everyone.

2) I'd like Nintendo to release a new Wii with a better video output. A Wii 1.5 that has a proper digital out (with no flicker filtering) and upscales like the 360 does with xbox1 games. They won't do it as they are too busy swimming in all the money they are making, but this is a wish thread.

3) I'd like the makers of SF4 to look very closely at the gameplay changes being made to SF2 HD remix (or whatever it is called). Make the game deep, but make it less execution focussed. I can do two qcf's on reaction if a low kick hits, but that took a lot of practise. Make the game easier to do the actual moves (especially for pad players) and more people will enjoy the game. And if the moves are easier to do, more people can get on with the actual business of playing the game rather than just trying to do moves.

4) A version of PES with 2v2 online play. Any format would be fine.

5) Halo 3 style matchmaking and party system for all relevant 360/PS3 games. I'm not saying it is easy, but anything else seems so lazy now.

6) More coop games. Especially those with drop in and out play like Crackdown.

7) A sequel to Crackdown -which easily wins my "didn't think it would be any good, but turned out to be excellent" prize for 2007.

8) More Wii games that are as fun as SMG.

9) A complete overhall of the PS3 store and the way it handles updates and downloads. It seems liek everytime I want to look at the store I need a firmware update -which takes an age. And when I download something (even firmware updates), why do I have to tell the PS3 to install it? What else am I going to do with it.

I secretly wish someone in USA sue Ubisoft for discrimination against Deaf Gamers. ie Assassin's Creeds. (Too much yapping and no subtitles support)

I thought they where pretty good in Mass Effect. I did notice however that some characters (especially Ashley) suffered from the twitchy eyelid syndrome.

I'm affraid not, even the uber Mario Galaxy does not get me excited.

I do adore Animal Crossing but I am unaware how diffrent that will be compared to it's GC & DS versions.

I'm sure a game will come that will sell the system to me but currently there is nothing on the horizon.

I want a Wii game I can relax to, something like Animal Crossing, where I can just take my time casually playing. Perhaps Eternal Blue will fit the bill but Animal Crossing for theWii would be perfect. Also want an epically long game like Oblivion on there. It doesn't have to a looker but some kind of RPG I can really sink my teeth into.

Forever Blue does sound like the one for you atm.

If you haven't played Okami, then wait for it on Wii. Assuming a good conversion, it should be awesome. That game is my favourite of 2006/2007 - better than Halo 3, HL2:OB and even Mario (only about a third of the way in, mind...)

The two I mentioned are ones im really excited about, just had to say a bit and link a trailer or two. They both look awsome. The other ones I will pick up, people have mentioned a lot more titles I will be buying too.
Still gotta pick up a Wii and PS3, Wii will definitely be first I'm still gagging to play mario galaxy.
