I've only played one new game in the last year PS2 Tomb Raider: Anniversary nevertheless I think it would be given an honourable mention whatever else I had played. A far from a perfect remake but generally a clever and respectful reworking via the game engine used for Legend. At times one of the best looking games on the PS2 too.
