I went onto the cITV website and talked to the two animated presenters on the internet. I wanted to ask them the most difficult questions I could to do with games. The roumer that was spreading was a possible MSFT buyout of Vivendi.
My Question: What do you think the long term impact of a MSFT buy out of Vivendi Studios would be? Do you think that it is a good thing or would it be detrimental to the industry.
Reply: Umm, yes. What do you think?
My Reply: I think that a MSFT buyout would be only negative. It would give MSFT too much of a monopoly over some huge IP and licenses. Imagine Half-life 2 as an XB exclusive. It is my honest opinion that should MSFT purchse Vivendi many highly anticipated games could be rushed in an attempt to make money for the XB to make up for the huge cost of the purcase. I think that this short-sighted policy would only be bad and would have noting but a negative effect on the games industry. I think that it would be a clear illustration of MSFTs attempts to buy into the games industry.

I dont know if anyone saw it today but they were reviewing 1st the mp3 player for the GBA. THey didnt even mention how much memory or even approx how many songs could be stored.
But the second made me laugh they were reviewing a LCD screen for a GC and said how big it was etc, didnt let you actually see the screen up close then ponted out that it had four ports on the front (surely they werent on about the joypad ports) lmfao. Then he slapped the screen shut much to the annoyance of the kid who was playing it.
I'm actually enjoying it for how crap them pair are and the vomit inducing camera angles.

I saw it today, it was absoutley dire. They compared PN03 to Tomb Raider and the Games Guru was a concept that should have died out with Gamesmaster, never mind the ultra-low budget made him look like some stoned bastard in Bath with a voice modulater.
Oh, and I really loved the positive perception of gamers that the viewers must have when faced with a fat ****e with long hair spouting, "You're going down!"
