Also, Death Smiles was confirmed for a Spring 2009 release as someone else mentioned and don't think Ketsui 360 has a release date as yet.

And also, if you have a Japanese Wii, Illvelo Wii is out in November and is similar to Radilgy/Karous

I have a US Wii but I will be doing the Zelda hack soon because I want the Milestone shooting collection as well (Radilgy, Karous & Chaos Field on the same disc) I do need a Hori Arcade stick for my Wii still though first

Loving my 360 now for shooty goodness cant wait to see what else comes out for it now.

Otomedius Excellent?

In February we wondered if Konami is seriously thinking about localizing Otomedius after discovering a US registered trademark for Otomedius Gorgeous. The answer appears to be yes.

Two tipsters sent an e-mail telling us GameStop is taking reservations for Otomedius Excellent. I followed up by walking into a GameStop and reserving a copy. According to the retailer, Otomedius Excellent is available for Xbox 360 and scheduled to come out on September 8. It?s a full price game at $59.99.

Intriguing. It's probably one of the weaker shmups on the 360 but this is still good news, if true. If I can play it on a PAL or Japanese console, I'll definitely support the decision by buying it again.

I've owned it twice now hoping it would get better the more I played it but it didn't

Felt far too slow paced after the joy that is Death Smiles.
Seemed like your character was moving through treacle & trying to upgrade the weapons always wound me up in the same way That Gradius & Parodius did

Still it has nice big boobies in it & I still covet the Arcade Stick

Nah it's a good enough game but I just didn't gel with it
I think I'd been way too spoiled by Death Smiles by that point & I've never been a huge fan of Gradius or Parodius so that didnt help either.

The boobies do make up for it...the Mrs did call me a perv though

I'm interested in picking this up to support Konami's localisation, although all the feedback I've seen over Georgous has been less than positive for the most part. Are there any listings other than zavvi atm?

I enjoyed Parodius too, so maybe I might like this?

I didn't like Gorgeous myself, found it really boring and dull. Its nothing compared to likes of Parodius. Hopefully this sequel is alot better.
