What has everyone been playing this week?

I was referring to the recent custom firmware app that can be run direct from the XMB for machines on official firmware 6.35. Now that I've got that, I can play my back catalogue on the Go.

Spent several hours on this over the weekend. So addictive. Was desperate to get 1000 people following me so I could open up this one barricade. Got 998 before one of the zombies sneaked up on me a decimated about 700 of them lol.

For me this week so far I have been playing plenty of Pokemon Black and White with a lot of Ultima Online mixed in. I'm very interested in getting a PSP in order to play Tactic Ogre, they are going for about £45 or so on eBay at the moment, plus there are a few older games I want but is ts game really as good as people have been saying?

Leave Home - XBLIG. Pretty awesome. Changes every time you play. Pretty tough horizontal shooter with a large hitbox.

Finished my second playthrough of Borderlands earlier. Fantastic game that will be my entry for 'Best game from a previous year' in the next GOTY.

I had been hankering for a MMO grindfest for a while and Borderlands completely filled the hole. I was planning on binging on Salem prior to finally getting round to BL. I can just stick to the crafting in Salem now.

I also played through the Kane and Lynch 2 SP over the weekend. Visual effects were interesting and it was nice and short. Gameplay was acceptable but mediocre. It isn't a solid experience as lots of elements that were used either for style or that were poorly structured killed any drama. Your actions were unpleasant but personally qualms were ultimately hypocritical as I'd freely watch other media where the same groups/quantities were mowed down.

Demon's Souls again. Spotted a couple of glowing bodies in Stonefang Tunnel but can't figure out to get to them!

Apart from a couple of sessions of Bioshock 2 earlier in the week, my only gaming has been Game Dev Story on my Android phone, and boy is it addictive!

It was half-price too when I got it so it's about £1.50 at the moment, which is an absolute steal!

I think my main goal is to get a monkey working for me!

Spent a few hours playing Team Fortress 2 . Hadn't played it since getting Battlefield Bad Company 2 over a year ago and, my God, I'd forgotten how much fun it is, how it demands tight, tactical and cohesive teamwork. Puts Call of Duty, Halo, even Battlefield, and all other pretenders firmly in the shade.

Me too. Just finished the UK version (entered New Game + without any fire magic = tough battle with Phalanx )

Brilliant game. Never gets boring.
