What has everyone been playing this week?

Only put a few sessions into Deus Ex: HR. Still very early and close to the first boss. The first hub area is regressive and sapped all of the momentum for me. The 'instanced' areas are still engrossing though.

Spent most of the week on a shmup binge.

Ikaruga - Unlocking as much as possible before RSG hits next week just incase (very unlikely) they include any unlocks.

Strania - The Side Vower addon is more fun to play than the normal game but only by a little. I found the main game dull initially but I'm liking it more with time. The red mech boss has a sweet laser.

Trouble witches Neo - It's okay.

And a heap of Guwange and Deathsmiles.

Restarted playing Borderlands on a new account after seeing clips of the sequel and wanting to get in on some lootin' action!

Finished Deus Ex last week. Good game but it felt like a slight slog towards the end Of the game. It never felt new since the game introduces nearly no new gameplay elements in the latter stages.

My mates have discovered the joy that is Bad Company 2 online so we've had night sessions every day. Love this way more than CoD but lack of friends made me prefer CoD. Eagerly counting days until
Battlefield 3.

Am also about 18+hrs into Xenoblade Chronicles. What a game. The are slight flaws with the way the inventory/equipping is handled but I've not played a game before that has such a scale to the environments. Great game and it feels like there is a lot it is yet to show me.

25 hours into Mass Effect 2 so far...ploughing through loyalty missions and am *thisclose* to doing sex with Miranda
Great game, story staying just the right side of bloated though, there are no need for so many crew members imo and the scanning planets is beyond tedious. Otherwise fantastic tho!

More Max Payne 2. Heard the bad guys preparing for me round the corner. Jumped round, hit bullet time, and shot this guy about 10 feet into the air and over the balcony. It all looked so damn cool. What a game. XD

I'm recently completed Vandal Hearts Flames of Judgement & Space Miner - both enjoyable games.

Trying to decide on what to play next something short so I can keep my gaming free for Batman Arkham City

188 hours...wowza! I probably clocked around 40-50 when I originally played it with only the stand alone game, will be getting the add-ons this time though as I have space on this HD to get them now!
Currently at level 20 and about to take on Sledge. Even though this is my 3rd time through the game it is still fun, surely that is testament to how great this game is.

Finished Warhammer 40k (fun, liked it, can see why people wouldn't) and on to Gears 3.

The on-line experience is what has really made me enjoyed this game. Playing every Monday for the last 8 months with a regular set of players has been one of my gaming highlights of the year. Alas after Crawmerax it will all come to and end, so can't wait till Borderlands

My 1 game only routine is working well, I completed Battlefield Bad Company 2 (Single Player Campaign) & have now started Enslaved ( Wow this looks gorgeous). Hoping Enslaved will keep me going till Batman Arkham City is released.
