    Wind Waker.

Ugh, the sailing makes me want to kill myself, very poorly executed in game as it is a decent idea on paper. The locations are just so far apart. I have just got the teleport spell to ease the pain mind but I just want the whole game to be over now. Pity as the dungeons have been good so far. It is easily the weakest game in the series though.

Picked up Mario Kart 7 and Mario and Luigi - Bowsers Inside Story. Not sure what's going on but I think i'm slowly reverting into a Mario fanboy and I blame Mario 3D Land!

Recently back in 360 land after having to flog mine a few years back, and am slowly mopping up the exclusives I've missed. True story.

Started with Metro 2033 and really, really liked it. Frigging hated my first session on it, but once I'd adjusted to its quirks and switched it to easy, its many strengths began to shine. The setting was pretty inspired and well realised, and the various moments of safety in the dimly lit stations were really comforting and uh, cosy. It mixed scenarios up brilliantly, without spoiling the lovely, plodding pace, and there were some downright superb moments where control was taken from you, and you could just take in the atmosphere. It seem more focused on paranormal what the effyness than carefully placed jumpy moments, which I'd like to see more of in survival horror. Loved it. Definetly wonky in some areas, but also great in areas most games aren't.

Just started Bastion, and am enjoying that too. There's less emphasis on exploring than I thought there would be, but it's basically a SNES era action game beautifully presented in a really unique, and so far totally successful way. Good stuff!

Finished Cave Story on Wii and jumped straight back in for another playthru and better ending. Lovely game, not ready to leave that wonderful place and its characters.

Dragon Age : Origins on PC.

Just installed a mod which seems to have fixed my issue with my party not following their tactics.
The game is an utter joy. Love the banter between Alistair and Morrigan.

Disappointing to find that there are descriptions for DLC packs that contain spoilers IN THE GAME. Pretty outrageous. I hope they don't do that in future Dragon Age games. Other than that though it's spectacular and the more directed approach is a nice deviation from Skyrim's create-your-own-adventure.

Has anyone tried the Grand Slam Tennis 2 demo on Xbox/PS3?
I thought it was excellent, the total raquet control is superb and really changes the feel of the game, far more involving. You can also hit the ball out which you can't in most other tennis games iirc.

PAYDAY:The Heist. I hate FPS as a rule, but this is awesome.
                  Kept you waiting, huh?

This week I have been mostly playing Professor Layton, Kid Icarus and also Amazing Breaker, which is one of my favourite iOS games. Playing a bit of Uncharted 3 but both the game and my PS3 controller are giving me trouble so it's slow progress.

Just two levels remaining in Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island which I've been playing for the past few weeks thanks to the 3DS Ambassador scheme. This is my first time playing through the game (I did get the GBA port at launch back in 2002 but at that time all we had was the original model GBA with the terrible screen so I gave up on it pretty quickly) so it was my big gap in the Super Mario library but it's easily gone right up there with SMB3, SMW and NSMBWii as the pinnacle of the 2D games.

Being back at work & the kids back at school really screws up the amount of gaming time I get. Decided to re-try Dead Island multi-player with friends who completed Borderlands. It was more enjoyable & will now be a weekly fixture. Managed to play some Skyrim today & playing the usual iOS games (Carcassonne, Disc Drivin & Words with Friends)

Been playing a lot of Black Rock Shooter on PSP over the past few days. Had it since it came out and kicking myself a bit for not starting it sooner. Really enjoying it so far.

-Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
                            -Crysis
-Jurassic Park Episode I: The Intruder
                            -Crash Time II

                            -Resident Evil 5

Finished Crysis which was good fun but showed itself to be overrated

Oblivion here... Level 28 and my liking for the game is currently on a down-trend. Only have the Shivering Isles achievements left if that's any indication of my progress.

I'm still doing the same attacks as I was at level 1... Hack, slash, heal, hack, slash, heal. It gets boring. I don't care about the story and I care even less about the environment.

MH3G in the time I haven't been at work/yoga/sleeping/watching Stargate SG1. Was mainly Rathalos farming yesterday, will be doing the same again today - he's SO easy with a lightning bow I can't believe it. Only downside is I can't take his tail off with it. A couple more DosHeracles beetles and I'll be able to upgrade my dragon-type twin blades and get to work on his tail more
