What has everyone been playing this week?

MGS4 and Team Fortress 2. I managed to unlock the Pyro's flare gun in TF2 so I've been having fun with that.

Started Ace Combat6. The couple missions that I've done, it seems ok. What I wouldn't give for a flightstick though, and a copy of the Top Gun soundtrack.

Been playing homeland on gamecube 150 hours in & still loving it

Mum tried her hand at mario galaxy & super mario collection.

Finished Phoenix Wright 2. More of the same, addictive but I wish they'd moved it on more. I reviewed it on Gamespot.

Started PES2008 PS2, first one I've seriously played since ISS98 on the N64. It's amazing how similar the gameplay is (or is my memory failing me?).

In the middle of Paper Mario: TTYD, with occasional Wii Sports and Rayman Raving Rabbids, and GBA Mario Golf: Advance Tour thrown in.

Trying to only play one game per console at the moment, and even that's probably too many overall.

Started and completed Resistance over the last 3-4 days.

I've been really bored lately trying to get stuck into a game to whittle down the hours. I came across Planescape Torment on my shelf, so i bung that in to replay again.

Like the last time i finished it, the hours completly dissappear from the moment you start. Only reason i'm not playing it now is because Dragon's Den is on.

I've also installed some great mods for it, including a resolution mod. Which allows you to pick any resolution you want which improves the detail on the graphics quite considerably because it is orignally 640x480 originally. Did try it on 1680x1050 but it was straining my eyes, so i set it to 1024x768 and it looks lovely.

I'm now number 3 best assassin in the world (in No More Heroes). Enjoying it, though the graffiti cleaning was rubbish.

Today I played Ghost Squad. Think I'm Lvl 11, 10, 6. I keep failing the bosses now though especially Mission 3. Damn bullet sponge but I think I finally figured out how to do it after months of trying...sigh.

Also having a go at Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn. This is my first FE game and it reminds me of Vandal Hearts (which I adored). Looking forward to ploughing on with this but it may take some time (ps on easy difficulty!)

Diablo 2. Good sluggish fun, thought I'd see what all the fuss was about for number 3!

Been playing DMC4 this week. What a wicked game! God knows why I didn't buy it on release. I've just finished the Nero half of the game and am now getting to grips with having to learn a completely different set of controls (I remapped Nero's controls to be more like Ninja Gaiden 2, which I'd been playing when I got this) and 4x new techniques with Dante.

Maybe it's on its way out? The LCD I mean. The first LCD I bought started buzzing shortly after I got it and it blew up soon afterwards Suffice to say I'll never buy anything from Comet as long as I live after the run-around their 'customer care' department gave me.

AWESOME game. The third boss is tricky. The best thing to do is continuously fire at it him whilst aiming at the head / shoulders height, and constantly spamming the grenade button so you lob them as fast as you can reload them. Breaking his shield quickly with grenades is the key.

Yeah, I'm currently dealing with the shop now about it. I doubt they'll do anything as its a good 1.5years old nearly. oh well. we'll see.

Been playing the fatal Frame:mask of the Lunar Eclipse on wii, and I don't know what all this ****e is about core game's, and this is one hell of a core game from Nintendo, the best in the series so far imho.

Virtua Fighter 5: Finally settled on trying to learn how to play as Akira and think I might actually be getting somewhere.

COD3: Great game. I wonder why people moan about Treyarch. For a virtual PS3 launch title this is really rather good.

Castlevania : Rondo of Blood. Lovely old skool, challenging stuff.

The Last Guy. Very enjoyable. Will probably buy.
