What has everyone been playing this week?

Just got No More Heros through the post.

I know this sounds weird, but I basically sat 2008 out in terms of new games.

I'm playing it on my bros Wii, it's awesome, but not as good as NiGHTS 2.

After I have finished this, I'm buying a 360 back then getting Fable 2.

Well I've played more of Saints Row 2 - up to 21% complete and not actually touched any of the story missions yet. Done a few chop shops and now I'm on my first hitman mission.

On the Wii I've played Boom Blox...good stuff but a little easy..and the horrible Samba De Amigo....rubbish controls and quickly sold on. Had a play with Bomberman on WiiWare. Classic bomberman with stacks of options. Points well spent. Bought a few classics on the VC (Secret of Mana, Metroid and Zelda) and tested them out, will dig into them later. Oh and I played Llyat Wars through to completion.

And lastly, tonight I had my first experience of GH:Legends of Rock. Looking good!

Never played this game back in the day, but thoroughly enjoying it now.

Socom Confrontation - Loving this. It seems the Japanese are too.

Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix - Playing this on both formats online. It's touch and go connection-wise on both too.

Football Manager Live - A footy managing MMO. I sense a bin-bagging

Wii - Wario Land Shake - I am loving the ol skool feel of this. Being a collect em up whore I must get everything on every stage!

Xbox 360 - Left for Dead. *wishing I hadn't finished fall out 3 so I can play it again.*

Nothing this week because I'm supposed to be revising for exams next week, and I keep getting distracted by Street Fighter III 3rd Strike and Fallout 3 on my laptop.

The plan after exams are finished is to spend a week and a half playing Chrono Trigger on either the Snes or PS. Whether or not I'll still feel like it after the exams is another question.

The past gaming week has involved lashings of COD WAW online (just for a change ). Also played some guitar hero aerosmith, rockband 2, and guitar hero world tour, finishing them all on hard.

Puzzle quest on the DS has undergone a mini revival thanks to the new one getting hyped, and lastly I'v been playing the brilliant Undercover Cops on the super famicom.

...and this week it has been MORE COD war online, Street Fighter HD, and I started Dark Sector which seems good fun.
Also had some Guitar hero world tour and guitar hero aerosmith on the go.

On the handheld front I'v been playing Final Fight on the gameboy micro. Splendid!

back on topic rinsing achievements on fable 2 and enjoying a bit of user created content on little big planet, just played a very cool rollercoaster themed level not liking the need to buy the mgs content though grrr.
