Been playing Megaman ZX and Tony Hawk's Underground 2 (GBA) on DS, mainly. ZX is just perking up, gameplay-wise, and I was almost gonna start a thread about some of the beautiful 2D graphics I've witnessed so far, especially this stage with a gorgeous night city backdrop that has this beautiful use of multilayered parallax scrolling, gosh, it looks so much more 'real' and impressive than actual 3D, when it's so obvious it's bogusly 2D. Good-looking game, this.

And a few days back, I went to the new Leeds CEX to browse around, I had some chump change in the condom pocket of my jeans, had to blow it, and ended up getting Silent Scope (80p), Zone Of The Enders (£1) and Fantavision (80p), all on PS2, and all in decent nick. Just playing ZOE now (cause I never bothered to back in 2001) and it's pretty decent, smooth, got lots of confidence in itself.

now that i have a new 360 (and foolishly re-buying some games i already have in the UK) i'm replaying Crackdown - my recovered gamertag has almost all the achievements but because i don't have the corresponding save it causes the game to crash on startup. despite this, it's still a joy to play from the beginning again.

Just started COD 5 on the 360 and I plan to start Okami on the Wii tomorrow. Also got Sam and Max and Batallion Wars still sealed and ready to play.

Currently playing Burnout Paradise (22% complete) & a bit of Flower & Noby Noby Boy. I'm also trying to get 100% on LocoRoco 2.

I've been busy:

Rock Band - played a bit more. Sticking to easy as I'm useless with the blue button.

HotD Overkill - finished this in one sitting in two player. Ok so it has its problem. Some of the cutscenes are overlong, the levels could be shorter and there are frame rate issues. Regardless it is without doubt so highly entertaining it transcends all these minor problems. Quotable to the max m*ther f*cker.

Saints Row - continuing my quest to regain ownership of the city. Finished the Samedi missions - lots easier with a rocket launcher in my back pocket.

Street Fighter 4 - my first real return to fighters since SF2 on the Snes. It has brought back many memories and I'm enjoying it. Online play is great and I've had many fun matches so far.

This week- Ninja Gaiden 2.

I'm on Chapter 4 after starting a few hours ago and I'm finding it piss easy so far on Warrior.

Heh funny, was just gonna post Ninja Gaiden 1 (with trainer, because I suck).
I'm stuck now and have to fetch me the 'Rotted Heart key'. Gonna FaQ though...

A few hours between Boom Blox, De Blob (thanks Lyris!) and Disaster : Day of Crisis, so a pretty much Wii filled couple of hours.

Day of Crisis, is great in a cheesy action movie sort-of-way, with some slightly clunky controls. I love it.

SF4 on physical media and a bizarre combination of Burnout Paradise, Flower and Noby Noby Boy from DLC. Nobody can accuse the PSN of a lack of variety.
